《像流水，也親像天頂一顆星啊》是在滿州鄉良鑾溪所拍攝而成，河床寬闊但人煙罕至，現今做為當地居民放牧牛隻的溪流。藝術家邀請了這個半島區域的耆老聲音作為錄像的旁白念歌，將民謠詩句以寺廟籤詩的形式段落結合。
影片從撿拾紅色辦桌塑料布表演開始，藝術家頭披頭紗，並一路以象徵傳統亞洲形式婚紗的紅塑料纏繞身軀前行進行這場表演。旁白唸唱著古老台灣南部半島的曲調，傳唱著關於女子出嫁在傳統禮節裡應遵守的事項，也描述歌者自身因身為女性在家庭與社會上的真實處境。
"as long as running rivers, shining like stars…" was filmed along the Liangluan Creek in Manzhou Township. The riverbed is wide but sparsely populated, currently serving as a stream where local residents graze cattle. The artist invited the voices of the elderly from this peninsula region to serve as the voiceover, reciting folk song verses in the form of temple oracle poems.
The video begins with a performance of collecting red plastic banquet tablecloths. The artist, wearing a veil, wraps her body with the red plastic, a symbolic gesture of traditional Asian wedding attire, and proceeds forward in the performance. The voiceover recites ancient tunes from the southern Taiwan peninsula, singing about the traditional customs a woman must follow when getting married, while also describing the real-life situations faced by the singer as a woman within both family and society.
